More people need to know how occupational therapy can make a difference in their lives. More people need to know the positive changes that occur through occupational therapy, and only occupational therapy. More people need to know that occupational therapy practitioners are on the frontlines of promoting the health and well-being of children, the elderly, the injured, or disabled-their family members, throughout the entire life cycle.

This site includes messages, documents, and useful information to help you help people outside the profession understand occupational therapy. Although there are special events geared to promoting occupational therapy-particularly OT Month in April-promoting OT can and should happen throughout the whole year.

More people need to know the huge contribution that occupational therapy and occupational therapy practitioners, researchers, and educators make in people's lives. And YOU are the ones to tell them!
